Brief
For my children's book our objective was to create a design using unconventional materials. In this case, the character Madame Rhino is created by collaging various paper flowers, leaves, lace, and bows. The story of madame rhino focuses on her love for an ugly, gaudy dress. Since she was addressed as madame in the story, I made the decision to make her french, with a heavy influence of Marie Antoinette in her makeup and dress styling.
